Join us for a live 3-hour event in Beverly Hills at a private Penthouse and roof top for our second Brujas for Books live event series, poetry and open mic society. This is a Wellness edition featuring:
We're bringing Brujeria to Beverly Hills.

This will also feature a LIVE AUTHOR Q+A with Laura Davila who will Zoom in for an intimate get together for attendees to meet her and ask her questions directly. Laura Davila is a two-time published author and esteemed bruja. 
 
A meal and refreshments will be catered, and includes your copy of her book. 
 
Event date: March 22nd from 3p to 6p. 
 
This experience entails:
1. Live Readings from Two Poets and One Op-Ed [open submissions/randomly chosen] must be a paid attendee to submit (no reward just an opportunity to share your written word and heart).
2. Includes copy of Davila's book, "Mexican Sorcery" for your library collection to keep.
3. There will be breakout group or solo reading sessions.
4. Guided discussions/platica and breakdown of how this fits into intersectional magic/brujeria and liberation work.
5. Meal, drinks such as water, tea and coffee included.
6. Networking and social hour

All tickets are final sale. No refunds unless a written submission of emergency with advance notification prior to event. 
 
This is an intersectional inclusive book club. No hatred, violence allowed.
 
Submissions for poetry and op-ed will be emailed after ticket purchase and winners chose on 3/19/26 during a live raffle, more details to come. Event address shared once tickets are purchased.
